Daydream ranch

Let's file this one away as lifestyles I daydream about while slogging away at work on Friday, shall we?

The equestrienne who would pick up this estate would have no problem shelling out $1.2 million for a three acre property an hour north of Dallas - complete with horse barn of course.  She would stroll casually through the 4,500 square foot home, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, glancing briefly at her saltwater pool and spa and theater room.  She would see all of the extra space as a bonus, she'd never have to see any other members of her family if she didn't want to.  Her dogs wouldn't scratch up the hand-scraped wood floors, and she would never let a sriracha bottle explode in the cream-coloured kitchen.  Of course she wouldn't bat an eye at the water bill required to keep your property that lush, deep green in the middle of a mild drought in Texas.  She wouldn't lose sleep over the pests and insects trying to invade her home in the middle of the country.  The equestrienne who lives here would never have any dust in her barn, much less on the fancy light fixtures hanging from its rafters.  Her breeches would always stay blindingly white, and she'd never have a horse defecate on her shoulder.  She'd sit on her back porch NOT covered in sweat/mosquito bites, ice tea in hand, and serenely gaze over her property while a cool breeze blew through her perfectly coiffed hair.

Daydreaming indeed...

  1. You're killing me with these gorgeous places! 😍😍😍 Although I am far too messy to live somewhere like that 😂

  2. i like that the barn actually seems very straight forward and simple in design - aside from those chandeliers haha

  3. The photos are so dreamy! The housing prices make me nostalgic for the USA, though. My parents are house-shopping, and Angel spotted a fixer-upper one story standalone house, 1500 sq. ft., with an actual yard, about 10 ft. by 20 ft that he thought might be worth a call--maybe since it wasn't in great shape, it wouldn't be so expensive. But when they called on it they found out it was priced at over $1 million US...

  7. Ohh my gosh, yes.
    That's an absolutely lovely barn.
Take the first house, add the pool (first one shown), throw in the classy interior decor...you've got yourself a dream.
My version of your dream I suppose. Haha.
Is that second pool even a pool or a very maintained pond? Damn...
