One of the lucky ones

I never realized how lucky I was until I had to 'dress up' for a business meeting this morning and I couldn't find my suits.  Because I hadn't worn them in so long.  Cheers to being a self-employed entrepreneur!  Now we only have to make sure that our project is viable so that we don't have to wear 'real' clothes ever again.

  2. Good luck! I really hope you wore that shirt and that you never have to wear a suit again. :)

    I consider myself lucky that no one expects me to dress up in a suit - and if I do, they'd wonder what was wrong with me.

  3. Good luck with your meeting! As much as I love dress-down Fridays at my office, I do like getting all work appropriate the rest of the week. Business attire can be chic too! But that tank is sweet.

  4. I can wear whatever I want to work (well almost) which is pretty sweet.

  5. Haha, that sounds wonderful--and your efforts will succeed! I have to settle for keeping an assortment of ties on the back of my office door (instead of wearing one every second).

  6. Oh, that's awesome that you're an entrepreneur. I always think of them as being a jack of all trades, essentially, since you have to be so savvy in so many fields. Good luck with your project! :)
    And hahah, I actually really like suits. Blazers and button ups...<3

  8. Ah, 'real' work clothes, I try to avoid those too. I have a distinct aversion to clothes that look like a uniform - I guess it reminds me of school!

  9. Wow, that's impressive. Good luck!

  11. Oh man! Hope the meeting went well! I feel like I have a little more freedom than most people about what I wear to work ( I definitely wont be caught in a suit!) and sometimes, if I'm lucky, I can even wear jeans!

  13. Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope your meeting went well. As someone who has been at home with babies for the last 6 years, the idea of putting on a business suit seems pretty glam to me!

  14. YEEESSSS! I couldn't agree more with you!
    I hate wearing the business clothes as well, they make me feel trapped in the 'Real World' or something ; n ;

    Right now, I'm enjoying my freedom like you, and I couldn't be any happier!

    I wish you the best of luck, and I hope all of your projects turn out to be a great success!I wish you the very best, from the bottom of my heart! (*^▽^)/

  15. I remember when I was in corporate marketing and wore suits every day. Then I became a stay at home mom and wore blue jean jumpers every day. Woah! That was a switch...now those suits are looking pretty fun again...Good luck on your project.
