AFK

Even though I brought my laptop and we have free wifi at the condo in which we're staying, I've thankfully been able to unplug a little bit from the world and soak up the nature that is Hawaii.  I have a ton of pictures to share with you guys and those are to come.  I am, once again, lobster red from not enough applications of sun screen on my arms, legs, back and face.  My hair is starting to take on that crunchy salty property from being in the ocean too often.  All of my swimsuits are sand encrusted.  Pretty much all key ingredients to a perfect vacation.  Only slight hiccup is that I lost my voice two days ago but hey, what more do I need to say?

I leave you to look over pictures of another oh-so-cute cottage in Dallas that looks like it should belong on the sandy shores of a beach.  I hope that you all have been having a wonderful weekend with at least a little time away from the computer.

  4. Salty hair sounds like the best type of hair right now! I've said it before, but I'm really looking forward to seeing your photos. :)
Perhaps you'd like to do a little house hunting in Kansas City! You've got great taste. I'd put money on you being able to find a real gem.

  5. So sorry about the redness and the voice. Everything else sounds pretty amazing though. I'm glad you're having a good time.

I can't quite picture the entire footprint of the house based on the interior. It's a nice house.

PS - Once again, I'm the paler of the two of us. :)

  14. It feels great to unplug once in a while. The timber ceiling and wood paneling make the spaces even more interesting.

  15. So jealous that you're in hawaii right now. Enjoy the rest of your trip...don't get too sunburnt!

  16. Hawaii sounds like fun, people pay good money for salt spray for their hair so maybe that makes up for the sunburn?

I love the wood floors in this house and the fact that it is compact. Try as I might, I just don't get huge houses. I suppose if someone gave me one I'd figure it out though.

  17. Sounds like you are really diving into your vacation. Unplugging once in while is so important! As for the house my favorite part is the wood clad wall in the bedroom.
