Parenting the sky

My run around the lake last weekend
Oh dreary windy day,
Where is that bluebird sky
I saw peeking out when I woke up this morning?

I'm not in the mood
For tricks and games
Or a head fake.

If the sun has decided on napping
And sent the clouds outside to play,
what will it take to roll its lazy bum out of bed?

Don't make me come up there.

  15. Wonderful! Two+ inches of rain expected here in the next few, and it's hard to imagine that the end of school is just over a month away when it's still so freaking COLD. Happy spring! ;)
