Are you ready for 2012? Can you believe that the year is almost over? I am very ill-prepared. I haven't come up with a list of resolutions. I don't have any NYE party themes or outfits planned and I haven't even chosen the signature cocktail. Last year we had Black Velvet, which is Guinness and champagne. I have a whole ton of brainstorming to do this afternoon. Sister sister and I have a champagne layer cake to plan and a cocktail to find. To help me along the way is some bubbly inspiration!

Guinness and champagne sound...vile. (Sorry! Am not a cocktail person.) My NYE plans involve lighting sparklers with two little kids and being in bed by 10pm. Because parenthood makes you lame. And tired.
