Take a sneak peek at all of the foods that I've made recently. Unfortunately, most of these didn't out quite as good as they photographed but that doesn't mean that we didn't eat them up as quickly as we could anyway. I've still got to work on my bread making skills (those are supposed to be buttermilk biscuits on the lower right, not rocks) so this month I'm going to try out a few doughnut recipes. You know, because doughnuts are bread. Yep, you guys are going to have to roll me out of October.
I'm gonna need more information about that pasta, please. And donuts are totally bread. I've been meaning to make pretzels (also bread), but haven't gotten around to it. Soon.
ReplyDeleteOmg, these look so good! Was the first one a success? 'Cuz it looks awesome and I want it.
ReplyDeleteyes! doughnuts please! and i made parker house rolls last thanksgiving and they were a total bust. but i'm trying again this year! :)
ReplyDeleteyum yum. when would it be ok for me to come for dinner??
ReplyDeleteWell if they taste even half as good as they look I'm sure they were delicious! And I'm pretty sure it's impossible to not make good biscuits. It's bread. It's automatically good. xo
ReplyDeleteEhrmahgerd! They look sooooo good, Rooth:) Please send some over.
ReplyDeleteI've had the most unusual cravings for doughnuts lately. I'll look forward to the outcome! I'm pretty sure if we keep spelling it like "dough"nut instead of donut, we can call it bread. So, it's settled!
ReplyDeleteBread making is too intimidating for me, so I applaud your buttermilk biscuits!!
ReplyDeleteyum! you are on a roll - no pun intended. i'll take everything on the left side because it looks like i could easily de-wheat them and the look super-freaking good! xo
ReplyDeleteI don´t believe you - if it looks this good, it HAS to taste just as well! :-)

Those cupcakes look good! Will you fry doughnuts??
ReplyDeleteHAHA, your comment about your bread not being rocks made me laugh out loud. I tried making bread for the first time this summer and they were a little hard to chew. The desserts certainly look so tasty though! I'd love to try a few :)
ReplyDeletehahah yummm it all looks so good! and psh, what rocks? i see no rocks. ;)
ReplyDeleteMaking good biscuits from scratch is a major, major accomplishment...it's hard. But I suspect you're being too critical of your creations. I'd have to try the dishes to believe they're not as tasty as they look.
ReplyDeleteOh Rooth, I have missed reading blogs in the last couple of months and I have particularly missed reading yours! You seriously always make me laugh. I'm pretty sure I'll be rolling out of October myself, given how my non-skipping is going.
ReplyDeleteRonnie xo
Yum, your post and Christine's fall foods post make me want to cook more or maybe just eat more ;) I'm already hungry and craving something hearty for lunch this morning...
ReplyDeleteMmm, tasty!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I'm going to work on perfecting my pie crust. Oh, who am I kidding? I'll be happy with a crust you can cut . . . without a knife. :)
Yuuuuuuuuuum. YUM. Let the rolling out commence! Heh heh.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Look at all of this yummy food! Can't wait to see how your donuts turn out. :)
