Good morning angels

Do you see that angel creeping closer and closer toward me?  Try not to have nightmares tonight my friends.  And do you love that "Do Not Disturb" sign or what?  I thought that Brits were typically a pretty polite people but Leave Me Alone?  At least they put a "please" in front of it.
Also, it's my momma's birthday today.  Happy birthday Mom.  You are my absolute favourite rando and looking younger and younger each year.

PS - Like 'Murica birthday fruit tart?

  1. Okay, I must be blind but...where's the angel? OMG. I'm blaming my lame-ass cold on my powers of perception.

Lucky girl that you got to go across the pond, albeit briefly. There's something so lovely about London.

Oh, and yes, that is one fiiiiine fruit tart!

  2. That angel is so creepy. Are you staying in the same place as last time? And that's the view out of your window?

  3. While I was staring at that creepy view, I was half expecting a Sadako figure from the Ring to jump right at me (like one of those tricky video I received once by email). Wishing you a lovely time in London.

  7. i love that view with the angel. i don't think it would make me scared as much as if i lived with one outside my window i would be sure to have superstitions about it. and i would probably make up weird rituals to keep it in my good graces, like say goodnight to it before closing the drapes or something dumb like you would do when you were 8. but i think that view is pretty amazing. so very london.

i loooove that sign. i want one and i want to wear it around my neck ;)

  15. I hope I wouldn't have noticed the angel nearby because I have seen far too many horror movies to not want to duct tape the shades to the window frame.

I hope your mom had a nice birthday!

  17. OK, that angel does kinda freak me out. I think it's the fact that I didn't see it at first. And then, I did. Eek!

Love the 'Leave Me Alone' sign. That's awesome--and, let's be serious, truthful. :)

Happy Birthday to your mama. Of course, at this point it's probably more like a Very Merry UnBirthday!

  19. That Weeping Angel is still freaking me out! I hope it took the advice of the sign on your door and left you alone! And I must say, I LOVE watching BBC and the Cooking Channel for all the british accents and phrases.

  20. Ah we do like our manners on this side of the pond! I hope bonnie Blighty treated you well - it's a terribly long trip for such a short stay.
