Quick trip!
Hello lovelies, I've just popped across the pond for a few hours (a little more than 24) and wanted to say Cheerio! Honestly, I'm quite jet lagged at the moment and it's the wee hours of the morning here. I also made the mistake of looking out my hotel window and there's a statue, a few rooftops away, that is facing my room. Verrrry verrry unsettling and as I haven't drawn the drapes, I'm afraid that at any moment, I'll look up and see her peering into my window. Weeping angels, particularly in London, give me the heeby jeebies.
Undoubtedly, I snapped a picture so I'll share that when I'm back at home but until then, cross your fingers that I don't get zapped into the past.

However, as we all know, the Doctor travels to 20th century London most of all. I think you will be safe.
ReplyDeleteRelated story: My boyfriend called me an "angel" the other day. Apparently, I start on my side of the bed and gets closer to him every few hours.

Cheerio, my dear:) You're there again, eh? So jealous!
ReplyDeleteIf she gets close, ask her to zap you a few days into the future...to skip the jet lag recovery. One day trip to London, madness! That is something best done with a Tardis.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was quite jealous until I got to the 'little more than 24 hours' bit. That seems a bit cruel and unusual . . .
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it nonetheless--and whatever you do, don't turn your back on some of those statues. They can be terribly sneaky . . .
You're too funny. Safe travels, dear!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in London! I hope for lots of sunshine for you whilst you´re there :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, jet lag is not a joking matter - every time I return from USA to Sweden I feel upside down for a week!
