Thou shalt not answer "I don't care" when asked what one would like to do / watch / eat... and then sneer and complain at the options offered.

  2. Answer: "Okay, we're going to Burger King."
Question: What does Rick say when his wife refuses to offer an opinion on where they should go for dinner?

It's very frustrating...won't offer suggestions, but complains about any place suggested by others. To cut that game short, I mention BK. That usually gets her to make a suggestion. But it only works because she knows I'll do it (because I have). :)

  5. No one ever ever ever means it when they say, "I don't care." Ever. They just don't want to speak up. xo

  6. Uh oh Ruth! Did you do this? I have a friend who does this ALL THE TIME and I can't stand it!!!! (even after 5 or 6 suggestions, I still get turned down and it's super frustrating). Don't be afraid to share your opinion!

  9. This is actually an important lesson for me because I am far too guilty of saying, "Oh I don't care! We can go wherever." I don't like rocking the boat. One of the things I want to do more of is speak up!
