We're all gathered around the tv, warm and cozy, while I'm toasting my feet on the radiant floor in the kitchen (yay vacation rental!). We have the Home Alone and Home Alone 2 movie marathon playing in the background and my mom is laughing like she's never seen these movies before - I think I see a new Rooth Family Christmas Tradition in the making. Hope y'all are enjoying the holiday week and getting those last minute presents wrapped and placed under the tree.
Aaaaaw....happy holidays to you and yours, Rooth:) And it's not Christmas without Kevin...hehe
ReplyDeleteTiny Tim Curry! That sounds like a good tradition...throw in Die Hard and it'll be the perfect Xmas tradition. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're all wrapped and ready (I think). We'll watching Charlie Brown this evening and having the traditional Xmas Eve Chinese takeout.
At dinner last night we had this long discussion about what European city we should have Christmas in someday. We envisioned Christmas markets, and walks with the crunch of snow under our feet. We pictured drafty rental chalets where we had to stoke the fire to keep warm, but the fairy lights glittered. So my mom started looking up potential cities for us to check out, and every single one was like 45º and raining.
ReplyDeleteDaydream: dashed. Yours looks better.
Merry Christmas Rooth!
ReplyDeleteHome Alone!! Great Christmas movies! Have a merry merry Christmas darling. xo
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect to me! Love Home Alone! Have fantastic holidays! <3
ReplyDeleteAww yay for Christmas movie marathons! Now I'm going to have to find Home Alone and Home Alone 2 somewhere so I can watch it too. Lol. ;)

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! Xx
Ah, sounds heavenly! I do believe all gifts are wrapped on this end (if not, we're just going to throw it in a stocking and call it good). I've just got a bit of baking to do--which includes another 'no fail' pie crust. This one includes Vodka. I haven't read the particulars yet, so I'm not sure if you drink the Vodka or toss it in crust.. .either way sounds like a win to me! :)
