A doll's house
This itty-bitty home is beautifully livable and has little bits and baubles of style that shine through. You can't help but notice the gleaming dark wood floors, coloured ceilings and clever use of space. The dining room is, in my opinion, the smartest room I've seen in awhile. The built in buffet along with plenty of counter and storage space and wine fridge compensate for the small kitchen and lack of breakfast area. And that little study nook tucked in the corner is so chic (notice the cord control!). I really like when people are thoughtful about using space and this house has lessons to teach us all.
I like everything except the bathroom sink--I'm just not in favor of having something stick up like that. I don't know what percentage pf accidents happen in the bathroom, but those sinks seem like something else to hit for face/mouth/eye on if you slip.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a comfortable little house.
What a darling little nest. So cozy and chic!
ReplyDeletelooks awesome
ReplyDeletelooks good! BTW are you a realtor? or just love looking at homes like me. haha good for inspiration though. i finally started doing some home things... after being in this house for a year.
ReplyDeletenice :)
ReplyDeleteActually, these wee, old homes are my favorite. They tend to have so much character . . . and you know how I love me some character. :)
ReplyDeletedoes remind me of the old shotgun houses
ReplyDeleteI do love how the owners made use of the little space....brills. Funnily enough, I think my fave part is the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy bungalow. I really like the workspace area and the fact that the ceiling in each room seems to have a special treatment.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute houes. love it! hope to find one like that to live in.

If you asked me when I was younger what my dream house was, this would be it. I love that they used those white IKEA chairs around the table, too!
ReplyDeleteSo very cute, love it! :-)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good use of space, I just can't say I love the interior as much as I love the cutesy tininess of the outside. I do love that office nook though, and the kitchen back splash (my eyes always go there first).
ReplyDeleteI love the varied-wood wall/closet for the office space. However, you couldn't pay me to dust all those tissue paper flowers as often as they'll need it!
ReplyDeleteLove the spaces inside the home! Great use of the rustic and color! =)

I adore that wood paneled desk area. ADORE. I also appreciate someone who has good cord control. Because God knows...I have none.
ReplyDeleteI love this house! I'm going to go back and gaze longingly at it for awhile. I've been itching to downsize for awhile and this house proves that you can do it...and do it stylishly too. Lovelovelove! Now, find me such a gem (with a fireplace and water view) in my hometown. Umthanksbye. xox
ReplyDeleteSeriously the CUTEST HOUSE EVER. I love the bathroom.
ReplyDeletewhat an adorable home!! very very cute
ReplyDeleteThis is when I think - dynamite comes in small packages. The house is designed so incredibly well for its size, and I love the extra-dark hardwood floors. Why do I think I've passed by this house in the Shepard/Montrose area in Houston?
ReplyDeleteCheers.
who doesn't want to live in that house? such a perfect idea.
