Last year, you all were key in helping me pick out the holiday cards I sent so I thought I'd run my selections by you again this year. Holiday / Christmas cards are hands down my favourite thing to shop for and oftentimes, I start browsing online stationery stores in early September. Instead of going for a super bright and cheery colour palette as I did in 2011, this year I thought I'd tone it down a bit - except for with the funny cards. I can't resist a card that makes me snort and giggle (like numbers 1, 6 & 7 below). Oh and the fact that you can punch out card design number 2 and make it into a paper Christmas ornament kind of has me sold as well. I told you this was going to be hard!
Ooooh, tough choice! I'd have to say #3, 6, and 7 are my favorites. Now to pick just one.......... I don't think I can do it. Maybe the next poster will be more helpful. :)
ReplyDelete#2 and #5 are my favorites! although, nothing says Christmas like, "bring on the Jesus holiday!" haha
ReplyDeleteI love greeting cards! Hammerpress is an awesome little workshop in my neighborhood. (http://hammerpress.net)
I actually just bought one the other day with a honey badger on the front that reads: Honey Badger don't give a sh*t, but I do. Happy Birthday, Stupid.
Love no.3 and 'Nutcrackers ready to crack some serious nuts this season'. Excited for Christmas, which reminds that I need to start looking for presents for family & friends.
ReplyDeleteI used to be really big into buying cards for every occasion...I'm not sure why I stopped. This makes me want to go out and buy some now. I'm loving the warmest wishes one and the rhino...so cute.

Pretty greeting card designs. I should make use of the postal service more. :)
ReplyDeleteI love #2 & #7. Ack! I can't choose!
ReplyDeleteI love the punch out card! I also wish I had the energy to actually make cards by hand every year. But I don't.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite of all of these is the rhinoceros.
#1, #4 (not sure why), and #6. I usually go for Victorian-looking Christmas trees (indoor or out), holly themes, Charlie Brown/Snoopy, or whatever moves me. I really need to search for the boxes I bought last year--and didn't use. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all your cute selections, but my personal fav is the one from wonder forest.
ReplyDeletei am in love with the rhino one seriously. i guess i should get on christmas cards...i never do them :(
ReplyDeleteMy votes goes for the rhino with the Christmas hat! Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI vote for number 3! It's really cute and simple, and it made me feel all Christmassy which is what you want in a card. Good sturdy paper, unusual but not in your face, and maximum festive impact. The final test will be to see how disgusting the glue on the envelope tastes, unless you're going for a sponge or glue-stick manoeuvre like a real pro...
ReplyDeleteoh, I think I like the rhino best :)
ReplyDeletethe rhino one is so great. and the autocorrect one!
ReplyDeleteI kinda like number 2! Simple and classic, it has a vintage look to it!

ReplyDeletesapling press is probably my favorite card makers of all time. they are wickedly funny and no matter how many times i read a card of theirs i laugh each time. so, that's my vote :)
ReplyDeleteI really like funny cards too and the auto correct one is just awesomely hilarious.I love your blog !!!!
ReplyDeleteI vote for the one with the rhino! I don't know why, but I like that one the most :)
ReplyDeleteI do like all of them, but I vote for the rhino as well, as I have rhino obsession (fang shui thing).
ReplyDeleteI meant Feng Shui:P
ReplyDeleteAs I was scrolling I kept thinking, that's my favorite...no that's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteso now that i'm at the end..I think I like the striped "season's greetings' the best.
Great ideas! I love your blog, I follow you on GFC I hope you follow me too!
ReplyDeleteSeasons Greeting is a good one because you can send to everyone from every creed
ReplyDeleteI love the third one! This reminds me that I should get hold of some Christmas cards to send.
ReplyDeleteLUXESSED
Very cute! =) I love funny ones too... it's so pleasant shopping for cards :)
ReplyDeleteI love Fact #25! That is so incredibly cute - and as the new owner of an iPhone - I know exactly what auto-correct can do to a text message :p
ReplyDeleteNumber 3!
ReplyDeleteRonnie xo
I like card number 3! :D
ReplyDeleteLove the "warmed holiday wishes" one!
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to be of any help because I'm torn between two. I love a funny card so Shop Sapling Press gets one vote, and I love the design of Wonder Forest. Anyway, maybe you've even already made up your mind. In which case...
ReplyDeleteOooh have you chosen yet? Love 5, 6 and the ones in 7 - especially the bottom left and right :)
ReplyDeleteThe one that becomes an ornament! The ornament! Great selection, Rooth!
