Glitter everywhere

And what's worse than regular glitter? Super fine glitter. Sure it's beautiful to look at but good luck getting rid of it. It adheres to skin better than some makeup I've used (note to self - next time just use craft supplies to glam up my look).
I really should have thought this project through better. On the plus side, I can't wait to show you guys my Thanksgiving table setting on Thursday!
Ha! Craft supplies to glam up your makeup. You'll look like a cast member of Priscilla Queen of the Desert! Not that that would be such a terrible thing as that film was amazing. But still, perhaps not the most festive look ;)
ReplyDeleteHooray for glitter!
yah i definitely want to see it!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it, Auntie Rooth!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know, glitter on anything can only be good, right?
Maybe the secret to word peace is glitter? Instead of weapons, they could use glitter drops. Everyone would be too busy getting the stuff off that nobody would have time to fight.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, glitter. It's like herpes, it NEVER LEAVES.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your table setting. Especially if it includes all this amazing glitter you speak of.
ReplyDeleteGlitter makes everything better! Can't wait to see your table setting!
ReplyDeleteI both love and hate glitter for exactly this reason. Can't wait to see your table!
ReplyDeletehaha, i cleaned my table last night and when i looked at the rag it was covered in glitter and i know i haven't even used glitter in days and had cleaned my table after i did. glitter has magical powers i think. but you know, you really can't stay mad at glitter.
ReplyDeleteHaha I actively avoid glitter crafts for this very reason. Can't wait to see what you've come up with!
ReplyDeleteYep, glitter is soo pretty and so clingy (like go home glitter, your over stay your welcome). I find that even a WEEK after I work with glitter it still resurfaces .. eek! Looking fwd to seeing your table setting arrangement!!!
ReplyDeletehope your thanksgiving project is going well. whenever i craft, there is always glitter all over! but that makes it fun ;)
ReplyDeleteOoh, something sparkly . . . can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Thanksgiving crafts with glitter?!
ReplyDeleteWell, thankfully glitter is oh-so-pretty. My daughter has a costume she wears around the house that leaves glitter everywhere. I just embrace the sparkle. Can't wait to see your glitter fest.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Rooth!
HAHA! Oh boy, this post made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI so know how you feel! ;)
Ohhh! That would bother me so much. While I love glitter in the form of clothing and accessories, I still don't love it on my face or skin. Probably because it lingers when I don't want it to!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you've come up with!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Glitter will take over the world if you don't watch out. It's evil, I tell you. But oh so pretty. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you made!! Happy Thanksgiving!
Can't wait to see your Thanksgiving table. I am foregoing Thanksgiving and working on an idea for Christmas. It was supposed to be VERY simple but is proving to be a challenge! Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteRooth...there is absolutely nothing wrong with glitter...of any kind. :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your table!!
You've stumbled onto a great idea. Lots of make-up companies add glitter to their make-up (that's a real thing, right???), but as you mentioned, it should be the other way around--add the make-up to the craft material for staying power.
ReplyDeletePS - I didn't think it was possible for you to become even more sparkly! :)
Have you been listening to Ke$ha again? Glitter on the floor floor floor floor..... haha (it's a guilty pleasure!)
