Hello yellow!
For some reason, it has been quite difficult for me to find an unstaged home lately. I tend to like the muss and mess of every day life and being able to peek into someone's life very briefly through their home. Of course, pictures of houses for sale typically only show the cleaned up version of someone's life but I can let my imagination run pretty rampant. This house is very well staged but I had to share it for it's daffodil yellow front door and bright and clean interior. Little touches like the front walk, porch swing and pocket doors to the kitchen make me oooh and ahhh. I want that mudroom / office combo someday too please. Hopefully, after a weekend full of grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning and running errands, it's just the type of house that will motivate you on a Monday.
Really nice home - but what I really loved was that yellow door, so lovely to see that every day! :-)
ReplyDeleteI really love that yellow door, so cheery and cute
ReplyDeleteI see how this has potential, I also see how it looks unused and has next to no personality... love the door!
ReplyDeleteOoh, a yellow door! I would, of course, have to add a splash of color indoors, as well . . .
ReplyDeleteOh GAWD, come to my house! It's about as unstaged as you'll get! A few years back we had some neighbors come back to a house they'd previously rented out and the mother of this family (a woman I really admire) prefaced the tour she gave me by saying, "We live in our house, you know." Words to live by in my book. Those are the houses I like. That being said, I love this house, with it's sunny door and that gorgeous dining table.
ReplyDeleteWow this house looks gorgeous. It does look a bit painfully neat in these photos, like you said, but it would be lovely after a bit of living-in.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I love that mudroom/office combo too....so functional! And yellow is not my colour in terms of fang shui, but I do love the door. So.....perky:)
ReplyDeleteI love that yellow door.
ReplyDeleteAround here in Suburbia, all of the houses are plain white, but some of them have red doors. Like bright cherry red doors. Some call that beauty, I say they look like the entryway to a murder house.
I love the yellow door and I really like when a bench replaces chairs at the dinning table.
ReplyDeleteI get such a girl-boner for that walk in shower room. That shower alone is bigger than a lot of my old apartments! All that marble in the kitchen paired with that rustic wood bench...sigh! Stunning.
ReplyDeleteThe cheerful yellow front door is so welcoming!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright yellow door. It just makes it a happy place to come home to.

The fence and flower colors are also playing a visual balancing trick with the yellow I think - Love it !
ReplyDeleteLOVE that wooden table with the bench in the kitchen. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love that yellow door

SWOONING over this house. And the most precious, little porch swing. ;) Want, want, want.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing bright yellow in homes - it's such a cheerful color, especially when it's outside.
ReplyDeletethat is so so pretty....and kind of unexpected! also, it's like my dream house.
ReplyDeleteThat yellow fence and door are so welcoming.
ReplyDeleteThe office space looks awesome, loving that see through chair
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome kitchen and bathroom! Nice blog you have here ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice and clean house for sure! The walls of my kitchen are exactly the same color as the yellow door :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for your comment on my blog.
Beautifully staged is right! Love.
ReplyDeleteI would love to live here, looks great and clean!
ReplyDeleteToo many things to like about this house! I like porches big enough for a swing. There's barely enough room to walk on many modern (fake) porches. I always thought it would be nice to have a mud room with a big bench, a few lockers, and hooks for guests. I like this set-up. I also like the bench and table in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteIt almost goes without saying that I love pocket doors. They are just neat!!!
OMG this house is absolutely gorgeous! I need/want a house like this!!

Love, love, love the look of this house! The yellow door especially is so fun and welcoming and what I find great is that it's the perfect shade of yellow. I'd have to say though that the entry way here is my favourite! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteLove the floors, from the rich hardwoods to the old school bathroom tile. And all of the white too, what a lovely home!
