Am I nervous? Excited? You betcha - there's a certain amount of trepidation and anxiety of looking over the precipice into something new.
You'll have to forgive me as the next few posts will be about furnishing a place, pains of packing up and the tearful goodbyes to friends that I've made over the last few years. I'll also make sure to update you guys as to what will happen with the nonprofit endeavor that I've been working on for the past 10 months. But really, today's post is to celebrate new things. No matter how much they keep you up at night!
A new city is always exciting, are you going to away where?
ReplyDeleteI am still thinking about sofas for you - I should have more ideas for you tomorrow.

No need to apologize, everyone is looking forward to those next few posts (just as we look forward to all of your posts). I'm hoping we won't be part of the tearful goodbyes when you get busy with the new job. Your posting may need to slow down, but hopefully you'll continue.
ReplyDeleteIf not, it will be ToT for us.
(That's the teenage girl sign for tears :)

ReplyDeleteSo exciting!! I had an inkling but didn't want to speculate wildly. So where are you moving?? East coast? West coast? EUROPE? What is your new job?? Inquiring minds want to know! But congrats again, you should be super excited!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I hate goodbyes. I hate it when someone leaves. But I always think that people leave because they have to dwell to other adventures in life. So I'm sure your friends will understand. It's exciting for you as well because it'll be a new place, new friends and new stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Rooth! Sounds like the new year is off to a big start!!
