I've got sunshine
This weekend was full of warm (dare we say hot) weather and sunshine, even when it was sprinkling out. We sat out on the patio every occasion we could get and have the A/C running right now. Is it really January? It felt like spring time here.
With this home and its wraparound sunroom, you could just bask in the sunshine without actually exposing yourself to the elements and mosquitoes. Although I know I would be carving a path between the sunroom and pool in the summertime. I really also like the combination of modern and traditional touches throughout the home - it's almost the right mixture. I've been obsessing about light fixtures lately and I really like the ones in the kitchen here particularly. Also, who wouldn't love the bathrooms in this house?

I hope you had a great weekend. Hard to imagine the a/c running. I spent much of today in a weird environment--it was hot/steamy and cold/drafty. It was the local laundromat. It was an experience.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely and picturesque home...I foresee lots of barbecues and dinner parties here...
ReplyDeleteThis is incredibly beautiful! I like large and long windows with lots of sunshine. It doesn't matter if it gets hot during summer (as long as there's AC running and great window treatment) and then open the doors for fresh breeze under a perfect weather. I had a song in my head while reading your post - "Walking on Sunshine". Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteugh, it's still freezing cold here. but I am happy that you had a nice weather on the weekend. I really am - *throwing another fit*
ReplyDelete;)
I love everything about this house! I would move in right away and hardly change a thing. Glad you had a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat? The A/C is on? Kill me now. Seriously. I think this is probably my favourite house you featured, the abundant natural light was the clincher for me.
ReplyDeletewow....this house is amazing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home! I really like spacious bathrooms just like this one. I love the color as well. :D
ReplyDeleteGrrrr.....jealous of that warm weather. It was FREEZING here this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis house reminds me of the Father of the Bride house (aka my favorite movie house of all time)
Oh, thank you for finding my next home. So very nice of you!
ReplyDeleteIt was a heat wave here as well--with a high of 41. We were SO excited! :)

Yeahh...those bathrooms are pretty much the most spectacular things ever. Goodness. Glad you're settling in to your new place! I can't imagine running the AC right now. That's so funny.
ReplyDeleteThis house is amazing and then I saw the last photo. What's the word for more than amazing? Those windows are all I would ever need in life.
ReplyDeleteI love this home. LOVE. I'm pinning every single picture. <3
ReplyDeleteWow, love this place - could move right in! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat pool looks like something I need. It's been scorching hot over here (around 94F) and no end in sight *yikes*. Makes sleeping in the evenings very uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteyou're a lucky girl cos it is freezing back here in London, its even snowing! the place is LUSH

ReplyDeleteLove that bathroom and the office space! I'd also love to find out who is lucky enough to live in this picture perfect home!

omg u always post pics of the most gorgeous homes. this one is so sunny and cozy.
ReplyDeleteWe have natural AC right now so that's kind of nice....all kidding aside I really love the lighting in this house.
ReplyDeleteOH, this house is gorgeous. I'm a sucker for a house with siding, or shingles. The only thing I found a bit off was the very contemporary sink in that first bathroom shot. I wish they would have went with something more period/traditional. Wah! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat house is amazing, I misread it at first and thought it was your house!! I am so jealous of whoever owns this. Just a reminder that I need to work harder and save more I guess :) You have a lovely blog (I found you through Emmy's blog - a scarberian dream) and I am now following :)

It's surprisingly warm in new york too (I LOVE IT!)... BBQ time? Ok, maybe it is a bit early for BBQ... counting the days until it is :) I love the walk-in-closet/ROOM .. open space peek at clothes.
ReplyDeleteYou can definitely tell you are a Southern girl sometimes -- and your love for this house shows it. :) I'm a southern girl as well... so I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteThis home is gorgeous! I think I'm crazy over that bathroom the most, wow. And the "closet"!? -- this place is monstrous!
