Moving Day
Moving on out |
- Completely furnish the living room (the sofa is in the mail)
- Buy all cleaning supplies
- Buy all kitchen supplies, which includes glasses, mugs, dishes, cutlery, flatware
- Buy all food. And I do mean all food - the only thing I have in the fridge right now is coconut oil. And I use that on my skin
Should be simple right? Sorry for the short post, I'm off to sleep for the next 24 hours.
Ha, that's how I do it too! The moment the boxes hit the new home, I unpack everything as fast as possible - I can't stand having boxes around for longer than a few days... Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your new home! xo
ReplyDeleteAmazing! That is quite the move. Happy new apartment!xx
ReplyDeletewow, good luck with everything xx0
ReplyDeleteI hope you slept well (and didn't use the horizontal time to make mental to-do lists).
ReplyDeleteI like Corelle ware. It's light, sturdy, and has been known to fall without shattering. But it's not for everyone. My wife keeps trying to get me to believe it's no longer sold. :)
Good luck with everything...I hope you can find the supplies on sale.
I bet you are exhausted from moving I would be too. Hope you'll get your new place in order soon. Nothing drives me crazier than boxes everywhere and we lived with them way too long ;) Have a productive yet restful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Moving Day, Rooth! And hope you got your rest:)
ReplyDeletegood luck at moving, I had to help my brother move like a billion times. It's exhausting.
ReplyDeletei hatttteeee packing but will gladly unpack. glad you're a-ok and moved in!
ReplyDeleteHaha - do relax in between as well girlie! :-)
ReplyDeleteMoving always stresses me..hope you find some time to relax and enjoy the process. Hope all goes smoothly and well.
ReplyDeleteGet your rest!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you went all Monica on them :-)
I want to see your place when you're all done!
Yay Rooth! You have touched down in D-town :) & you went all "Monica" on those boxes! haha I think you will really grow to love Dallas. I can always give you suggestions on food, shops, places to go, etc! Just let me know :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I do that too: unpack as soon as possible. Good luck turning your new place into a home! I do hope we'll see a picture of that couch once it arrives!
ReplyDeleteOh man, that's so impressive – hoorah for being [almost] all unpacked! I hope you find everything you need and get plenty of rest (:
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you unpacked so fast! I usually have boxes for months - but I convince myself they are a window seat for the cat so it's okay.
ReplyDeleteWhat sofa did you finally wind up with?
Sounds like things have been moving pretty smoothly! Will you be sharing your new pad with us?
ReplyDeleteYayyy! I love moving...I do the same sort of rapid unpacking wherever I land. So excited for you. =)
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with your unpacking! That definitely deserves at least 24 hours of sleep!
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post? I don't even know . . . Sigh.
ReplyDeleteAnd coconut oil on your skin . . . hmmm . . .I'll have to give that a try. I occasionally use olive oil; coconut sounds so much more festive. :)
I cannot stop laughing when you declared yourself went all Monica. Yay Rooth!
ReplyDeleteI totally had to bow out and I missed your move? Waaaaah. Sobbing now. But! I love the Monica reference. Go, girl! Love there awhile before you do anything crazytown, okay?
