A million tiny cuts

Okay, maybe not exactly A MILLION but pretty close.  My arm looks like, and I apologize for this terribly morbid metaphor, I attempted to slit my wrists 50 times, each time more unsuccessful than the last.  That's what comes of trying to reuse and recycle empty cardboard boxes, the most extreme case of paper cuts I've ever gotten.  I know I know - hashtag first world problems.

I hope y'all have exciting weekend plans prepared.  We're going through a bit of a heat wave here in Texas (it's flipping 80 degrees!) and I packed completely inappropriately for my swan song / goodbye-drinks-dinner-party in Houston this weekend.  So I mean, I just had to go shopping today for warm weather stuff, right?  And this totally doesn't go against the search for cold weather clothing I mentioned a few days ago.  Sigh...

Now pardon me while I try not to violate my 'leggings as pants' rule.  Have a wonderful one!

    Ouch, paper cuts are the worst! I really despise them. Here's hoping you don't get any more. Are you all done with your boxes? I'm nowhere near it yet... *sigh* The girls seem to like Portland so far, and now that they're adjusting to the time difference, sleep is getting easier. Hope your move is almost done.

    Ha ha ha...I read the prior post before this one, and I definitely laughed when I read your newest fashion challenge! I actually do a ton of shopping at the thrift store...since everything is so cheap, I can keep refreshing my wardrobe all the time.

    80 degrees? Wow. I lived in the south up until two years ago and I remember all the crazy weather. Snow storms in April and heat waves in January! Such a crazy place!

    We had a bit of a heat wave here too! It got all the way up to 20 after being in the single digits for a week. :)

    Loving the sass in this post! It's finally started to warm up a bit here in Portland and I'm very happy because I know longer feel like my ribs are cracking. :) So ready for some truly warm weather however!

    Oh man, cardboard paper cuts are the worst. I always get them when I open amazon boxes. It's the one downside to shopping online.
